Student Designers Win $10,000 at Interior Design Day
The Canadian University Dubai’s 5th Annual Interior Design Days ended with the presentation of $10,000 USD in award money to the winners of University Design Challenge issued by KOA, a unique real estate concept that aims to bring a new definition to residential living in the UAE. The company approached the university earlier in the spring semester with the idea of running the competition in order to allow the talented students to showcase their designs and come up with innovative solutions for KOA’s first development, Canvas.

Canadian University Dubai Dean Helps Kiribati Plan Its Future
April 11, 2017 – The Canadian University Dubai’s (CUD) Dean of the Faculty of Management and the School of Business Administration, Prof. Franco Gandolfi, was recently invited to act as a strategic advisor to the South Pacific nation of Kiribati in order to help them obtain financial aid from donors and development partners. In addition Prof. Franco also conducted a week of intensive workshops on strategic planning and foresight for mid-level and senior-level public servants across all twelve of the government’s ministries.
