Canadian University Dubai launches Master of Public Health program
December 6, 2024, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE): Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has launched an innovative new graduate program in public health, aimed at advancing the careers of public health professionals and boosting human capital in the sector. The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree builds on the university’s existing partnerships with global organizations aimed at reducing the worldwide deficit in public health workers. The first intake will be in the Spring 2025 semester, offering opportunities both for recent graduates to transition into the public health field, and for current working professionals to advance into leadership positions in the industry.

CUD Mechatronics Team Wins Third Place at the IEEE 18th UAE Student Day
July 10th, 2024, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE): A team of three students from the BSc in Electrical Engineering—Mechatronics program at Canadian University Dubai (CUD) secured third place at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 18th UAE Student Day competition recently held in Abu Dhabi. Competing in the Engineering Design Project category, the team of Ezza Mirza, Danica Reyes, and Noor Shawqi developed a manual robotic arm capable of carrying three different types of balls and incorporating a shooter mechanism.
