Monday, May 31, 2021: Dr. Saida Harguem, Assistant Professor, Canadian University Dubai, participated in the Faculty of Management’s (FOM) research seminar series and presented her research paper entitled “A Conceptual Framework on IT Governance Impact on Organizational Performance: A Dynamic Capability Perspective” that was recently published in the Academic Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies, a Scopus indexed journal.

Wednesday, April 14, 2021: Through our established partnerships with a range of Canadian higher education institutions, students at Canadian University Dubai (CUD) can choose to transfer the credits they earn at CUD to complete their degree in Canada. We caught up with one of our students, Bhaanvi Rai, who recently made this decision. She completed her first year of university education in 2020 with the Faculty of Management, achieving 30 credits that were successfully transferred to her current Bachelor's degree program at the University of New Brunswick (UNBC).

Incentivizing acceptability of climate change mitigation measures and adoption of low carbon lifestyles in the Gulf region
Climate change poses major risks for Gulf countries, potentially affecting their food security, water processing, and public health to an alarming extent, in a region where temperatures are already critically high. These countries have been undergoing an exponential economic and population growth, accompanied by a sustained growth in Greenhouse Gas emissions. To curb climate change, besides switching towards an energy mix with less fossil fuels, it is urgent to foster low-carbon lifestyles amongst the residents: for instance, in terms of transportation and energy consumption.
